In 2026, the first-ever SimRacing Expo Charlotte took place in North Carolina, bringing together almost 9,000 visitors and more than 43 exhibitors over Memorial Day Weekend. Three days full of innovation, cutting-edge technology, and unforgettable experiences immersed visitors in the exciting worlds of sim racing and flight simulation.
From entry-level sim racing setups to high-end racing simulators featuring Pimax virtual reality headsets and D-BOX motion systems, the expo showcased the latest technologies for every level of simulation enthusiast. And it wasn’t just about car racing! Visitors could also experience motorcycle simulators and explore the world of flight simulation, from commercial airliners and helicopters to military fighter jets.
With the Try & Buy experience, visitors can test sim racing and flight simulation hardware on-site, purchase their favorite products directly from participating retailers, and take their new gear home the very same day.
The SimRacing Expo Charlotte is also the place to discover groundbreaking products and innovations. Exhibitors such as Trak Racer , Virtual Racing School, Simagic, Simucube, RaceRoom and iRacing showcased exciting products to the North American audience, including selected premieres at the expo. Fanatec also presented its latest Podium pedals at the event.
But the experience doesn’t stop on the show floor! Our three-day stage program, also streamed live online, brought together NASCAR drivers, motorsport legends, content creators, and industry experts.
Visitors had the opportunity to hear from NASCAR drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Anthony Alfredo, and Parker Retzlaff, as well as motorsport legend Max Papis. Popular sim racing content creators such as Matt Malone, Thomb, and Stormalina brought their personalities and passion to the stage. From entertaining discussions and the latest industry developments to exciting debates and professional sim racing competitions on Sunday, there was something for everyone.
